Senator Hirono hosts Export Import Bank seminar in Honolulu

Senator Mazie Hirono along with Export Import Director Patricia Loui presented to Hawaii businesses the export benefits that are offered by State and Federal programs. Government representatives from the Department of Business Economic Development and Tourism, Small Business Administration, Small Business Development Center, U.S. Commercial Services office, Hawaii Foreign-Trade Zone and Hawaii Pacific Export Council. The “ExIm Small Business Forum” Export Import Bank Small Business Seminar had a variety of Statewide business eager to learn about financial assistance programs in growing their exports.  Senator Hirono – “Developing global partnerships and increasing exports to new and emerging markets won’t just create jobs and pump money into our economy – it will help us create long-term, sustainable economic growth across our islands.”
