We have worked with the Foreign-Trade Zone #9 since 1993 and it has greatly enhanced
our company. One of the greatest benefits for us is that we can warehouse our imported
items and defer U.S. Customs duties. We only pay duties on items when we remove
them from the FTZ-9. This gives us much better cash flow management. The FTZ-9 also
allows us to better manage our warehouse needs, charging us for the space we use
each month which varies month-to-month. This is a great way to save.
